Welcome to A Sure Word Community Outreach . Our mission is to actively engage and uplift the community through faith building. We strive to inspire through acts of giving, learning, and thoughtful social planning. By offering health support and connecting individuals with vital resources, we aim to promote both spiritual growth and overall well-being. Through these initiatives, we seek to create a holistic approach that nurtures the heart and body, fostering a vibrant and supportive community.
Meet the Founder
Taormina "Tori" Howard
Tori Howard is the Founder and Executive Director of A Sure Word Community Outreach, a faith-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families through programs in behavioral health, education, and spiritual development. She oversees six impactful branches, including the Barley Harvest Food Pantry and Breath of Life Recovery and Support Services, offering comprehensive care and community connection.
Tori holds an Associate of Arts degree, a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Psychology, further deepening her understanding of mental and emotional wellness. She is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Registered Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), Nutrition Specialist, certified Zumba instructor, and a certified CPR and First Aid Instructor, integrating physical, emotional, and spiritual support into her approach to healing.
As a loving mother of four, Tori is deeply committed to empowering others, building resilient communities, and living out her faith with compassion and purpose.
